Shanghe Concrete Mixer

The JZC series climbing bucket concrete mixer is available in both automatic (twin-motor) and semi-automatic (single-motor) configurations. The automatic type features an electrically controlled hopper and drum movement, while the semi-automatic version uses manual handle operation. It can be powered by either an electric motor or a diesel engine to suit various construction site conditions.

This model offers a compact design, smooth operation, stable transmission, and user-friendly controls, delivering high mixing quality and productivity. It efficiently mixes plastic and semi-hard concrete, making it ideal for construction sites, roads, bridges, hydropower projects, and small to medium-sized precast component factories.

Advantages

1. Unmatched Portability
Designed for mobility, its compact structure and integrated wheels allow for easy transportation between job sites. This makes it an ideal solution for urban renovations, rural builds, or remote locations without access to ready-mix concrete delivery.

2. Robust and Reliable Construction
Built with durability in mind, the JZC features a heavy-duty, double-cone steel drum driven by a gear ring system. This simple, time-tested design ensures a long service life with minimal maintenance requirements.

3. Operational Simplicity and Efficiency
User-friendly mechanical controls enable operation with minimal training. The standard forward-mixing and reverse-discharge action, along with optional lifting bucket systems on some models, streamline the entire process from loading to unloading.

4. Cost-Effective Performance
With a lower initial investment and operating cost than stationary batching plants, the JZC series offers an economical entry point for contractors, small businesses, and DIY projects, providing an excellent return on investment.

5. Versatile Application
Capable of handling plastic concrete, semi-dry mixes, and mortar, it is suited for a wide range of tasks including residential construction, road and bridge repair, and manufacturing small precast elements.

6. Flexible Power Configuration
To adapt to any site condition, JZC mixers are available with either electric motors (for sites with grid power) or diesel engines (for remote or off-grid locations), ensuring uninterrupted operation.

7. Consistent Mix Quality
The internal blade geometry utilizes a gravity-based mixing principle to produce a homogeneous and reliable concrete blend, ensuring the quality of the finished structure.

Application

Building & Construction
Ideal for residential and small commercial projects, these mixers efficiently produce concrete for foundations, walls, floors, and columns. Their compact footprint and easy maneuverability make them perfect for confined urban or suburban job sites where space is limited.

Infrastructure & Public Works
Municipal and civil engineering crews rely on the JZC for on-demand mixing in road and bridge repair, sidewalk and curb installation, and drainage system projects. The ability to produce concrete directly at the site is invaluable in remote locations or congested urban areas where ready-mix truck access is restricted.

Precast & Product Manufacturing
Small to medium-sized precast plants utilize these mixers for manufacturing standardized products like hollow blocks, paving stones, and fence posts. The consistent mixing action ensures uniform quality and texture across every batch, which is critical for product reliability.

Rural & Agricultural Development
With options for diesel power and wheel-mounted portability, these mixers are essential for off-grid agricultural projects. They are commonly used to build farm infrastructure such as silos, animal housing, and irrigation channels, as well as for community development work in remote areas.

Renovation & Landscaping
The ability to mix smaller, controlled batches makes the JZC series highly suitable for renovation contractors and DIY enthusiasts. It is perfectly suited for projects like home renovations, landscaping, building garden walls, patios, and other outdoor structures.

Key Features

Capacity: Available in models like JZC350 (0.35m³) and JZC500 (0.5m³), with an actual output of about 80% of the nominal drum volume.

Mixing Mechanism: Utilizes a gravity-type mixing process where materials tumble inside a rotating double-conical drum; concrete is discharged by reversing the drum’s direction.

Mobility: Designed for portability, mounted on a wheeled chassis for easy on-site movement or towing between locations.

Power Source: Offers flexible power options:

Electric Motor: Ideal for sites with grid power; operates quietly with zero emissions (typically requires 3-phase 380V).

Diesel Engine: Provides mobility and independence for remote sites without electricity.

Durability: Built with a robust design, featuring high-strength steel drums and a reinforced chassis for long-lasting stability.

Working Principle

The JZC mixer operates on a straightforward yet effective gravity-based mixing principle, controlled by the rotation direction of its motor-driven drum.

  • Mixing Cycle: When the drum rotates forward, specially shaped internal blades lift the cement, aggregates, and water upward. The materials then cascade back down under gravity. This continuous lifting and falling action creates a thorough, homogeneous blend.
  • Discharge Cycle: Reversing the drum’s rotation engages a different set of internal blades. These blades actively guide the finished concrete toward the drum opening and out through the discharge chute for rapid unloading.

Key System Components

The mixer’s functionality is supported by several integrated systems:

Mixing System

  • Drum: The double-cone-shaped, rotating container where mixing occurs, fitted with internal spiral blades for lifting and discharging.
  • Drive System: Provides power through an electric motor or diesel engine, transmitted via a gear reducer to the outer gear ring that turns the drum.

Material Handling System

  • Feeding Hopper: A loading bucket, often part of a manual or powered lift mechanism, that raises raw materials from ground level into the drum.
  • Water System: A calibrated pump and pipeline with a timer to deliver precise amounts of water into the mix.

Mobility System

  • Chassis & Wheels: A robust steel frame mounted on wheels, providing a stable base and allowing for easy on-site movement or towing between locations. The frame often includes a tow hitch and adjustable height for the discharge chute.
